Producers

Consumers

What are Producers? Producers are life forms that get there energy from the sun and feed off it.

At the Start of my Food Chain the producers that provide food for the consumers are: Phytoplankton and Seaweed.
All they do is sit on the top of the Ocean and collect sunlight and turn that into energy which then can be transfered into energy for the comsumers.

What is a Consumer? Consumers are a heterotrophic organism that feeds on other organisms in a food chain.

The Consumers on my food chain list are: The Great White Shark, Acorn Barnacle, Waratah Anemone, Light Blue Soldier Crab, Moray Eel, Green Sea Turtle, Dolphins, Paddle Crabs and Cockle (Bivalve).
Everything besides the Green Sea Turtles and the Cockles (Bivalve) who are seen as Herbivoures are considered Carnivours, they eat meat and nothing else, this is how those Marine animals survive.

Decomposers

What are Decomposers? Decomposers in the ocean include fungi in the genera Lindra and Lulworthia, the bacteria Vibrio furnissii, shipworms, nematodes andamoebas. Decomposers are an important component of the marine ecosystem, as they break down dead organisms and release nutrients from these organisms back into ocean.
